The availability of better-paying jobs and various business opportunities in the urban areas has caused rural to urban migration to ever-expanding cities in Malaysia. As the urban population continuously grows, land scarcity has caused property prices to rise, making housing less affordable for most urban dwellers, especially for below 40% (B40) households.

The data, released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia, showed a RM1000 drop in graduates starting wages from the year from the period year 2019 to 2020.

The vaccination will be a tool to rein in a spike in infections and reactive economy to optimize resources that recorded its worst slump in over two decades last year. Malaysian government targets to vaccinate at least 80% of the total population by February next year.

Vaccines will be administered for free of charge starting with frontline healthcare workers and then the vulnerable.
