Today, Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) Research Analyst, Nur Zalikhaa’ Zainal Abidin, and MASA Strategic Communication and Management Executive, Liwani Che Long, held a Bean Bag Sharing session, briefing fellow colleagues on the issue of child protection.
On August 21, 2024, Nur Zalikhaa’ and Liwani attended the 2024 Nation Building Symposium, organised by IKRAM and IKRAM Policy Review (KADRI) at Bangi Golf Resort. One of the key topics discussed was the level of knowledge, attitude and practices regarding child protection issues among adults in Malaysia.
The discussion highlighted significant concerns about child protection, including challenges such as neglect, abuse, violence and exploitation. Assessing the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices among adults is crucial as they play a critical role in addressing these issues and ensuring a healthy future for children in Malaysia.
