Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the Discourse on the Future of the Bumiputera Economy, held at PAUM Clubhouse on 28 February 2025.
We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to YB Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Haji Mohd Yassin, Former 8th Prime Minister and Chairman of MASA, for gracing the event and delivering the keynote address. Our sincere thanks also go to the esteemed panelists and moderator for dedicating their time to share their insights on the challenges and improvements needed to advance the Bumiputera economic agenda.
This discourse highlighted the importance of adopting a more holistic strategy to strengthen Bumiputera equity and businesses, enhance access to capital and technology, and ensure a fairer distribution of resources, particularly for Sabah and Sarawak. Additionally, the discussion emphasized the role of improved education and governance as fundamental pillars for the economic well-being of the Bumiputera community.
