YB Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Bin Haji Mohd Yassin has served as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia from March 2020 until August 2021. He is a man of vast experience and has served three different governments in the modern Malaysian political era.

YABhg Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad served as the fourth and seventh Prime Minister of Malaysia. His first term was from 1981 to 2003 and his second was between 2018 to 2020. With a career spanning over seven decades, he is one of the most respected political figures in Malaysia.

DATUK DR. MARZUKI MOHAMAD

Datuk Dr Marzuki Mohamad is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science, International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from IIUM (1998), a Master's Degree in Political Science, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2001) and a Doctorate in Political Science, Australian National University (2008). He started his career as an academician at IIUM in 1999. In 2009, he was seconded to the Prime Minister's Department as Special Officer to the Deputy Prime Minister. He also served as Political Secretary to the Minister of Education (2013-2015), Special Tasks Officer to the Minister of Home Affairs (2018-2020) and Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister (2020-2021). As an academician, his main areas of study are electoral politics, race relations, law and politics and political Islam. He has produced several writings in these fields. Mohamed Azmi Mohd Rasheed Khan is a seasoned management professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning project management, corporate compliance, financial planning, and strategic operations. He currently serves as the Head of Corporate Services at Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA), where he oversees organizational governance, stakeholder engagement, and institutional development. Azmi is an alumnus of the University of Malaya. His academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping his multidisciplinary approach to organizational leadership and policy analysis. Throughout his career, Azmi has contributed to various esteemed organizations, including the Centre for Civilisational Dialogue at the University of Malaya, the Malaysian Orphan Foundation (YATIM), Sime Darby Foundation (YSD) as well as Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). His roles have encompassed project oversight, financial stewardship, and the facilitation of cross-sector collaborations. Notably, he continues to serve on the Board of Trustees for YATIM, reflecting his enduring commitment to social development and humanitarian initiatives. She began her journey at MASA as an intern, and her exemplary performance led to her appointment as part of MASA’s research team. Zalikhaa’ holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (Hons) from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). Her academic foundation, combined with her strong analytical and writing skills, has enabled her to play an active role in developing socio-economic insights, policy briefs, and strategic commentaries. Her written work has been published in national newspapers and mainstream media, amplifying MASA’s research agenda to a wider audience. Muhammad Ainul Hakim Norazmi is a dedicated Research Analyst at Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA), with over three years of experience in data management, research analysis, and digital tools integration. He plays a key role in the Kajian Dinamika Persepsi Masyarakat (Study on the Dynamics of Public Perception), where he is responsible for managing large datasets, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring the quality and reliability of research inputs. Ainul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management from the University of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia-Italy Design Institute. His technical proficiency includes a wide range of analytical and visualization tools, such as SQL, QGIS, Tableau, Python, and Microsoft Office Suite. He has also been trained in occupational safety and health under the NIOSH Green Book Safety and Health Officer programme. Ainul is skilled in designing and administering surveys, developing research databases, and conducting statistical analyses that inform evidence-based policymaking. His contributions have supported high-impact research projects focused on understanding social sentiment, behavioural trends, and political attitudes across Malaysia. Muhammad Ammar Syahmi Anuar is currently a Research Analyst in the field of policy and politics at Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA). He began his professional career as an Industrial Trainee at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), before joining the Protégé programme under the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) in the Policy and Strategy Department. He later served as a Political and Public Policy Researcher at the Socioeconomic Development and Research Institute (SEDAR). Ammar holds a Bachelor of Human Sciences (Political Science) with Honours from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). During his studies, he was actively involved in student leadership and volunteerism. He also has experience and a strong interest in corporate communications, event management, and corporate social responsibility initiatives, reflecting his deep commitment to community engagement and positive social impact. Actively involved in student leadership, Iman serves as the President of Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS) Universiti Malaya and is a member of the Universiti Malaya Student Union (UMSU) Secretariat and Persatuan Kebangsaan Pelajar Islam Malaysia (PKPIM). His leadership extends beyond the university, as he has directed national-level events, such as Piala Pidato Tuanku Kurshiah and political literacy forums. Nur Syazwani Salim is an experienced administrative professional with a Bachelor in Administrative Science from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). During her time at Pejabat SUK Selangor, Syazwani supported numerous state initiatives, including serving as the secretariat for the Istiadat Pengurniaan Darjah Kebesaran Negeri Selangor and Selangor State Assembly (DUN) sessions. With more than eight years of professional experience in strategic operations and administrative roles, including service within the Prime Minister’s Department and several political offices, Umi has developed a strong understanding of governance processes and institutional operations. Her professional journey has cultivated a deep appreciation for the role of data-driven insights in supporting evidence-based decision-making and national initiatives. Her transition into the field of data science reflects a strong interest in bridging traditional administration with modern analytical tools.
